Hey– I’m Robyn!
I’ve been chasing transformation since I was a kid (my birthday wish—twice—was a full bedroom makeover).
My parents cheered me on, even when that meant letting me splatter paint all over my walls.
Those early experiments? They were the start of something bigger: learning to trust my ideas, take creative risks, and build a life that feels like mine.
Now I help other women do the same—one project, one room, one bold step at a time.

2017
A Quiet Shift: Leaving My Career, Finding My Voice
While pregnant with our daughter, I stepped away from my career in agriculture to be more present on the farm—and at home. At the time, I thought I was losing myself. Motherhood can feel like that sometimes, can’t it? But looking back, I realize I wasn’t disappearing—I was beginning to rediscover myself in new ways.
2021
Grief, Growth & Stepping Away
At the end of 2021, my husband and I made the heartbreaking decision to leave the family farm. What followed was deep grief, big questions and a step back from the online world. But even in that quiet, I couldn’t stop building. I took on my first client project… and then another and another. Piece by piece, something new was being born.
FUTURE
Still Writing This Chapter
The tools are still out, the plans are still unfolding, and my story is still being written. I’m raising kids, building a business, and continuing to rebuild—one space, one season, one brave next step at a time.

2013
Where it all began: PASSION, CURIOSITY & My Grandparents home
My husband and I continued our journey as farmers and moved into my grandparents’ home. Granny and Gramps built their dream bungalow on the farm in 1999—open floor plan, teal accents and all the golden oak Granny could dream of.
But those were her dreams. I was ready to make the space my own. With every project I took on, I found myself falling deeper in love with design, renovation and the process of reimagining what “home” could look like—not just for our family, but for me.
2019
Creating & Connecting Online
That rediscovery pushed me to start my first blog, Robyn Johanna. I shared our DIY projects, home hacks and the messy, real reflections in between. To my surprise, people connected. A community grew. That year, I partnered with RYOBI and was featured in Apartment Therapy. It was proof that sharing my voice mattered.
2025
REBUILD WITH ROBYN IS BORN
That “something new” is Rebuild. with Robyn. It’s more than a brand — it’s a movement. A place for women who are learning as they go, rebuilding their homes and reclaiming themselves along the way. It’s where home projects meet healing.
